Lady Sovereign, a semi new artist to the states that Nate recommended to me. She's good. Not my style - a bit too grimy, but she's hilariously awesome. She toured with The Streets in the states just recently and is acquiring a bigger fanbase. She is tiny (around 5 feet tall) and her style reminds me a lot of Dizzee Rascal. Check her out if you can. And speaking of good artists, Josh and I have been listening to the new album from TV on the Radio and I like it a lot. It's mellow and soothing and it reminds me of The Arcade Fire (who I LOVE), but a bit different, of course.
I haven't posted in a while. Sorry, I have been working a lot and by the time I get home, I don't feel like staring at the computer screen too much. Also, it's been so HOT here in LA. Crazy humid hot. It's awful.
I had a rather pleasant weekend full of good food and good times. Josh's friend Shane and his wife, Sibyl, threw a White Trash BBQ at their house. It was full of bad food and bad beer. Luckily, it was a potluck so there was some excellent normal food and beer as well. They served Frito Pie (a concoction of Fritos chips and chili, topped with sour cream, green onions, cheese and any other fixin' you like. It was rad!
Goodness, I have run out of time to post. I am off to Vegas this weekend. I will post again soon, I promise!!

Swinging by on my quest to track down all the Sams on the net and bring them together under a single roof.
I've set up a Sam-tracking top-sites type thing you may or may not be interested in. Swing by my site (www.sam-site.com) for more information - it's no scam, just some fun.
Essentially I'm aiming to recruit as many Sams from the internet as possible for a showdown of some kind. We're an interesting bunch, and it's worth celebrating that fact.
Hope all is well. Yes, I know it's a little weird, but I find the unusual to be interesting.
Best regards
Sam
