Tired, very tired. I am going off of 4 hours of sleep because I went to a party last night. I should know better. Yes, I should. But it was fun and I am glad that I went, even though it wasn’t for too long. Kurt and Tripp had a somewhat spontaneous graduation party at their apartment. It was jogging themed, along with a “bring a baked good” requirement. So Josh and I went. I was in my yoga pants and Josh was in his, as he calls them, “hip hop hooray” pants. Apparently we were the only people dressed up (or down, if you want to be technical). Awesome. Or not. It was cool, at least I was comfortable. I realized that the hosts have been so busy with their theses that I haven’t seen them in literally months. I couldn’t believe it. It was nice to see them and a few of their fellow classmates that I have met throughout the three years of their program. It was also nice to hang out with Shahab and Wen as well. They are always fun and Wen is such a character and he cracks me up all of the time. Anyway, the party was swell.
I had my regular dinner with M tonight at the Cheesecake Factory (again). I am glad to hear that her roommate situation is finally going to have some closure pretty soon. I was tired and I felt bad because I wasn’t contributing to conversation much, but she had a lot more going on than I did since I last saw her. We went to Q’s because she was craving a salad, even though we had just finished dinner. While we were eating, M got a call from a planning firm and set up an interview with them. She is getting interviews left and right. I am happy for her. Her commute to Pasadena is killing her. As we were walking out of the restaurant, I heard a loud bang from the window. I looked over and saw Michelle Chung waving. I ran back in to say hello and saw that she was hanging out with Dre and Linds. It was great to see them. With a city as big as LA, it makes you wonder how often coincidences like these are likely to happen. But I am glad that it did. They were all celebrating for Linds and I was so happy for her too.
The Scrubs season finale was on tonight, right when I got home. I am sad that all of my television shows are on break from the season. I have nothing to watch anymore. I’m just waiting for all of my HBO shows to start up again. I’m tired.
S&TC quote of the day:
Carrie: Are you two together?
Anthony: No, but I'm hoping we will be around 3:30 [am]. (Season 4 – All That Glitters)
