Stupidest thing that I've done in a while:

I was asking a question to one of my coworkers in the front lobby and I notice that there was some sort of black ink smudge on her forehead. I kept staring at it because it was a pretty big mark and as she starts answering my question, I say to her, "Missy (that's her nickname), you have some ink all over your forehead." She replies, "It's Ash Wednesday retard." I felt stupid, but then I said, "How am I suppose to know? I'm not religious. Isn't it a bit early though?" And then she rolled her eyes and laughed. But I guess there are disadvantages for being apathetic to religion.

I just got back from a fundraiser for the Tsunami Relief Efforts that my friend Aussie put together for the Center for Southeast Asian Studies. Lisa and I liked it a lot. There were a lot of traditional and modern dance performances that represented the countries that were hardest hit by the tsunami, such as India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Thailand. It was fantastic and I am glad that I went.

I am still worried about my friend Tripp. You are still in my thoughts and I hope you get well soon!
