"These tears I've cried...I've cried 1,000 oceans"

So it has been a long day. I am more upset now than anything. I think I am numb. I couldn't help it. I cried. I cried a lot. I had lunch with a few old friends, Jesse, Vanessa, Lisa, Angie, and Eva and we discussed this morning's events. We were all devastated and had few words. So we decided to be more active politically to ensure that this will not happen next time. We were thinking Hilary and Obama in 2008! That would be so awesome. It was nice to be around people that shared my views, especially on this eventful day.

As if my day couldn't get any worse, my really good friend from home told me that his father had just passed away. I am so devasted. He was one of the greatest and coolest dads that I knew and I feel so bad for my friend. He was one of the mock trial coaches in high school and I will never forget him. I cried even more. What a day. This is probably one of the worst days ever. Sigh.

Oh ya... Hilary and Obama ~2008! I hear ya Sam. This election was
extreamly frusterating! I can't believe that Kerry conceded!
I am so happy and proud of you for finally receiving your citizenship.
It's about damn time! Born and raised here and a college graduate and
it still took them 3 YEARS! I've been on Marita and Jack's A** for
not getting theirs yet. So horray for you!

Whos father passed away? I'm sorry to hear that, that's horriable
news. :( Us fellow Modestins have to stick together.

Take Care,

Alison

Sam,

I feel ya with the election. I am glad that we got a chance to talk and hang out yesterday- it is a tough time for your friend- and all you can do is lend an ear. I hope work today is a bit less hecktic and I hope you finally get a chance to take a well deserved break!! Talk to you soon.

Alison,

Bret's father passed away last week and if you knew him, you would know how huge of a loss it was to not only Bret, but the rest of the Modesto community. He was a passionate lawyer and judge. I am devasted and I am going to miss him. I am more so sad for Bret because I know that he especially is going through the hardest time. Here are some articles if you want to read them that were written about Wray last week:
